George F. Kermis, Ph.D., C.P.A.
With a background as an auditor, financial consultant, and college professor, George Kermis is uniquely qualified in the field of financial literacy and management profitability analysis.
Dr. Kermis received his doctorate in Accounting and MBA in Finance from Syracuse University, and his C.P.A. from the State of New York. His professional experience includes six years with the international public accounting firm KPMG, and more than two decades of corporate training experience as president of East Amherst Associates, LLC, and principal trainer with Kermis Profitability Seminars. He has given invited addresses on financial topics to the annual meetings of the American Society for Training and Development and the National Speakers Bureau, and published and presented nationally and internationally.
As a faculty member of the Wehle School of Business at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, Dr. Kermis has been honored with the school's highest teaching honor, the Kenneth C. Koessler Distinguished Professor Award.
